TRUEN unveils Powerful AI Camera TA Series at SECON 2024
2025-03-20
The TA Series, jointly developed with AI SoC (System on Chip) company Hailo,
features the "Smart Shot" function for optimal object recognition,
along with behavioral analysis functions such as fight detection, falling, loitering, and crowd control.
It also enables a vehicle surveillance system that can simultaneously run AI functions such as object recognition and automatic license plate recognition.
[Security News, Reporter Eom Ho-sik] TRUEN, a specialized company in on-device (edge) AI camera-based video surveillance platforms, unveiled its high-performance AI camera TA Series with various artificial intelligence (AI) functions at the 23rd World Security Expo (SECON 2024) in South Korea.

The AI camera showcased by TRUEN was developed in collaboration with AI SoC (System on Chip) company Hailo. By applying TRUEN's AI expertise to a highly optimized, high-performance AI SoC that supports video processing and analysis, it is expected to provide users with a range of artificial intelligence (AI) features, high accuracy, and robust security, offering an innovative solution.
The TRUEN AI Camera (TA Series) simultaneously supports a range of artificial intelligence (AI) features, including the "Smart Shot" function for real-time optimal object recognition, behavioral analysis features that detect actions such as fighting, falling, loitering, and crowd control, as well as vehicle safety monitoring functions like license plate recognition and vehicle speed detection.
Built on high SoC performance, the TA Series has increased object recognition distance and the number of simultaneous objects recognized by up to twice the capacity of previous models. It also has the advantage of being able to run multiple AI functions at the same time. For example, it can run AI features like Object Detection and ANPR (Automatic Number Plate Recognition) simultaneously in a vehicle surveillance system.
In addition, AI features have been developed to improve video quality for accurate object detection in challenging conditions such as bad weather or low-light environments (AI WDR, AI De-fog, AI DIS, AI De-Noising, AI De-Blurring). These advancements are expected to enhance real-time object recognition on the device while providing the best video quality.
